DESCRIPTION:Creative Writing for Kids—8-12yo\nThis class is for 9 and 10 
 yr. old students who are serious about writing and want to further develop
  their skills. We will review writing rules\, do various exercises and stu
 dents will be encouraged to develop a story to share with the group for ge
 ntle critiquing.\nNotebooks and pencils provided.\nDates: June 12th-16th\n
 Time: 9:00-10:30\nCost: $110\nUp to 10 students\nCheryl's Bio:\nCheryl Mor
 rison was a private school teacher for 20 years and has worked the last 14
  years with Albemarle County Schools as a Site Facilitator and a teacher i
 n the Extended Day Enrichment Program.  It was there that she held classe
 s in creative writing\, drama and circus. While at Hollymead Elementary Sc
 hool she and the 4th/5th grade students held two extravagant circuses and 
 raised money for impoverished schools in India. It was also there she bega
 n to write her own plays and teach history lessons in live theater form. S
 he gained experience with middle school age students at Tandem Friends Sch
 ool in the Spectrum Summer Program. In the past\, she was  a professional
  writer in both California and Connecticut writing articles\, ads and week
 ly columns for a variety of publications. Currently\, she has her own busi
 ness called Club Hub offering several different classes for children throu
 ghout the year.To register for any of these classes\, please contact Chery
