There’s something special about the first Saturday of the month at the Rockfish Valley Community Center. The smell of fresh coffee and pancakes fills the air, neighbors greet each other like family, and the sound of laughter echoes through the hall.
That’s right, it’s Pancake Breakfast day!
This beloved community tradition brings folks together over a hearty meal of pancakes, eggs, sausage, and hot coffee, all prepared by dedicated RVCC volunteers. It’s more than just breakfast; it’s a way to start your weekend with connection, good food, and small-town charm.
From November until April, the Pancake Breakfast runs alongside our Saturday Market, so after you eat, you can wander through the booths, meet local farmers, bakers, and artists, and pick up everything from fresh eggs and sourdough bread to handcrafted gifts and art.
Every plate served helps support the Rockfish Valley Community Center and the many programs, events, and spaces that make RVCC such a vibrant hub for our community.
The Pancake Breakfast is completely volunteer-run, and we couldn’t do it without the helping hands of our amazing community members. From flipping pancakes to greeting guests, every role helps keep this RVCC tradition alive. Volunteer sign-ups are sent out through our monthly RVCC newsletter, so if you’d like to join the crew and be part of the fun, make sure you’re subscribed!
