EARLY BIRDS  – A VOTE EARLY & GET OUT THE VOTE PARTY

Saturday, October 25th, 1 PM to 5 PM in the RVCC Pavilion. Hosted by Nelson Indivisible. Early Voting in Nelson has started at the Registrar’s Office in Lovingston (571 Front Street) and runs Monday – Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM, through October 31st. There are 2 Saturdays (Oct 24 and 31) and 2 Sundays (Oct 18 and 25, hours 9-4).

Join us for this party for early voters, election day voters, would-be and soon-to-be voters (youngsters grow up fast). Information and celebration. Show your I Voted sticker or a picture of it to be entered in a raffle for prizes of silver jewelry by K Robins! Must be present to win. And also….

• 1-3 PM            Food (free): hot dogs, snacks, pie
• 1-3 PM            Make a Rolling Billboard: Car window washing station and washable chalk to paint Early Voting messages.
• 1-3 PM            Children’s Art Station
• 1-3 PM            Ballot Initiative information
• 2 PM                Justice Singers and singalong
• 3-5 PM            The Peanut Vendors (dance band) = Nelson’s own rock n roll cover band. Bring your dancing shoes.
