At the SK8 Nelson Skate Park
We are offering classes for all beginning skateboarders ages: 7 through 77.
Our experienced staff will provide instruction for skaters to improve their skills.
Instruction will be tailored for brand-new skaters.
Students will learn the fundamentals of skateboarding such as how to balance, push, turn, proper foot placement, and how to stop.
The main goal is to become confident while riding in the skate park environment
This class will also emphasize the importance of creative play.
We recommend all skaters to provide their own board and a full set of safety gear. (a helmet, elbow pads, knee pads, and wrist guards.) However, Loaner equipment is available, and will be available to all students on the first come, first served basis.
Students 7-12 will require guardian supervision
