Rockfish Valley Community Center is launching a new Wednesday Farm Pickup & Local Vendor Program.
As we phase out the traditional Wednesday Market format, we are shifting to a simpler model that better reflects current participation and community needs. This new program will allow local farms to use RVCC as a pickup location for customers who pre-order directly, while also giving a small number of local vendors the option to set up a table and sell on site.
How It Works
On Wednesdays, participating farms may drop off pre-packed customer orders for pickup at RVCC inside the auditorium. Customers place their orders directly with the farm in advance, then stop by during the designated pickup window to collect them.
In addition, select local vendors may also set up a table in the auditorium at RVCC during the same time period, creating a small and welcoming midweek community shopping opportunity.
For Farms and Vendors
Participants in the Wednesday program must:
- hold an RVCC Business Membership at the $100/year level
- pay a $50/month participation fee
Participants may use the program for:
- pre-order food or farm pickups
- on-site table sales
- or a combination of both
The monthly fee helps support use of the space, basic coordination, and promotion through RVCC’s communication channels.
Program Focus
This is not a full farmers’ market. It is a smaller, more flexible Wednesday program designed to support local farms, food providers, and vendors in a way that is sustainable for both participants and RVCC.
Interested in Participating?
