Monday mornings, 9am–11am, beginning September 11.
The Eight Ways is a series of 8 movements distilled from the tai chi form that are easy to learn and fun to practice. These 8 exercises bring the essential health benefits of the full form into your everyday activities. Actions like climbing stairs, sitting and getting up from a chair, and lifting or reaching for objects can be done with greater stability and less effort using tai chi principles.
This practice strengthens the legs and improves circulation throughout the body. It’s great for coordinating everyday movements and as preparation for sports. The Eight Ways is especially good for people whose health may not allow them to do the full form, but it can also benefit people of any age and physical condition.”
The cost for the full 12-class series is $140, or $15 per class on a drop-in basis.
